Steve graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and earned a Masters in Accountancy from the University of Central Florida. Steve started his career at Deloitte and Touche, LLLP in Philadelphia performing Audit and Advisory Services to various public and private clients. In 2005, Steve transitioned to K. Hovnanian Enterprises, at the time the 5th largest public homebuilder, performing financial analysis and accounting for the land acquisition and development group in Florida. He also handled the implementation of Sarbanes Oxley internal control reporting for K. Hovnanian throughout the multiple divisions in Florida and Texas. In 2010, Steve and other members of the Orosz Family founded Royal Oak Homes of which Steve was later named Co-President in 2012. At Royal Oak, he was responsible for managing the financial performance of the company which included coordinating all construction/acquisition loan relationships, cash management, and strategic planning. Steve has experience in the acquisition and development of over 30 residential communities totaling over 7,000 lots. In addition, he also has worked with multiple regional financial institutions to obtain more than $50 million in financing for both horizontal and vertical construction.
In 2014, with the acquisition of AV Homes, Inc., Steve continues his role as Co-President managing the accounting and financial reporting, human resources, information technology, and general operations for the division.
Steve is currently Vice President of the Orosz Family Foundation, Inc., a past Board Member of Catholic Charities of Central Florida, and the Mission Office of the Diocese of Orlando. He is a parishioner at St. Margaret Mary in Winter Park. Steve is married to his wife Helen and enjoys spending time with their two children, and photography.
Matthew graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. Matthew also received his Masters in Business Administration from the Crummer Graduate School at Rollins College in Winter Park, FL graduating with highest honors. Matt began his career as an operations analyst for JP Morgan Chase in Wilmington, DE. He later joined KTR Capital Partners, a private REIT in Philadelphia, as an investment analyst in 2006 and was responsible for the acquisition of institutional quality real estate assets across multiple strategic markets. Matt was responsible for deploying over $200,000,000 within a $2 billion fund. In 2010, Matt and other members of the Orosz Family founded Royal Oak Homes. Matt was named Co-President in 2012. At Royal Oak, Matt was responsible for overseeing daily operations of the company which included establishing and managing the Royal Oak sales and marketing efforts, plan design, and strategic planning. Matt also identified and sourced a capital partner critical in acquiring over 5,000 residential lots within a Royal Oak sister entity, Hanover Capital Partners, to which he served as head of investments.
In 2014, with the acquisition of Royal Oak by AV Homes, Inc., Matt continues his role as Co-President managing the sales, marketing, land acquisition, and general operations for the division.
Matt is Vice President of the Orosz Family Foundation, Inc. and active with numerous community charities. Matt is married to his wife Kathleen and enjoys spending time with their 2 children and Great Dane, Maggie.
Colby is a graduate of the University of Florida, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction from the M.E. Rinker School of Building Construction in 1993. He spent 16 years with Engle/TOUSA Homes where he served as Vice President of Operations managing all aspects of the construction process for over 300 homes per year, a role he's built upon with Royal Oak Homes. Colby's story with Engle Homes is unique, starting as an Assistant Builder and growing within the company to become part of top management. During his tenure with Engle Homes Orlando, the company built over 10,000 homes in Central Florida and was consistently ranked among the top production homebuilders in the area in terms of volume and customer satisfaction.
Colby joined Royal Oak Homes in 2010 as Vice President of Construction and was promoted to Executive Vice President in 2012. Colby is responsible for managing all construction activities for all Royal Oak communities which includes coordinating trade partner relationships, plan design, permitting, and supporting the builders in the field. Due to Colby's expertise, Royal Oak was the fastest growing privately owned company in Central Florida during 2012 and 2013. Additionally, Royal Oak was the fastest growing homebuilder in the country in 2013. He currently manages in excess of 400 home starts per year in 16 communities throughout Central Florida.
Colby is married to Sandy and has two kids and enjoys spending time with their English Golden Retriever, Scout. He is a licensed Certified General Contractor in the State of Florida.
